PEACEMAKERS 101: LEADERSHIP FOR THE SEASONS OF CONFLICT
You know the feeling. You’re working hard to accomplish a deadline or achieve something that’s expected of you. You’re reliant on others to do their part. Out of nowhere, it seems your progress comes to a halt. Your belief in others starts to slide. People aren’t making time to meet with you. You’re questioning whether people have the same level of commitment as you do. Possible conflict or a dispute looms.
Building and sustaining good relationships with one another is hard work. No matter how hard you’ve worked to bring people together or stay together, there is always potential for conflict or dispute.
When you’re needing to display inclusive leadership or need to unite people, the leadership capability of peacemaking is a must-have.
Peacemaking is a highly desired, but sometimes understated capability of effective leadership. It’s essential for the ongoing commitment to valuing and leveraging individual difference.
An effective peacemaker will anticipate problems and deal with them before they escalate. They take responsibility for being open, managing the sensitivities and for brokering solutions during times of conflict or dispute. They place importance on the active pursuit of peace for any conflict or dispute resolution process.

This workshop will provide you with a framework, reflective thinking, leadership capabilities and people skills for being at your best in these life moments. It will have you think about, assess and discuss current practices, experiences and moments of resolving conflicts or disputes. It will help you understand what is needed for future-proofing relationships when navigating through seasons of conflict.
In a safe learning environment, the workshop will provide you with opportunities to undertake reflection, analysis and discussion of conflict and the importance of leadership in those moments. You will have opportunities to connect, share and encourage ongoing achievement for being peacemakers with other like minded and like valued people.
You’ll also create a roadmap for navigating you and others through seasons of conflict.
