RISE UP: INTERMEDIATE LEADERSHIP FOR INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS
We acknowledge the struggles and victories of past peoples, Elders and Ancestors, knowing that it has been through their endeavours and not our own strengths and capabilities that allows us to play a part in the leadership lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (Indigenous Australians) of today and tomorrow.
Specific for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (Indigenous Australians), this workshop provides you with a knowledge framework, critical thinking, leadership capabilities and the planning skills for improving leadership or for doing it better.
It will have you explore and discover the authentic YOU for leadership. It will help you to further leverage your unique imprint for leadership and the unique imprint of others for creating and accomplishing a shared sense of purpose.
Highly interactive and engaging in a safe learning environment, this workshop will provide you with opportunities to capitalise on knowledge you have to discover ways to further bring people together to achieve a common purpose.
You will have opportunities to connect, share and encourage ongoing achievement with other like minded and like valued people.
You’ll also create a leadership roadmap that further inspires and shapes a shared sense of purpose for your cause and support your thinking for how and what you’re meant to be doing.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR
From an early age of being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, you would have been exposed to leadership. While this period of your life will not define your leadership destiny, its impact on your leadership life can never be underestimated.
You already have foundational knowledge and understanding about leadership, but need to go to another level.
Is culture important to the causes in your leadership life?
Are you needing to go from a foundational to another capability level of knowledge and understanding of leadership?
Are you seeking to have intermediate knowledge and understanding about leadership?
If yes, this workshop is for you.
You will explore and discover capabilities and behaviours for leadership and their applicability for you and the people you need to influence to create and accomplish a shared sense of purpose. In a safe learning environment, you will reflect on your rich cultural heritage to discover its impact on your leadership life today. You will explore the teachings and practices of cultural ways and its ongoing relevance for you and the people you need to influence for work and life matters you’re passionate about.
People who might attend this workshop include team leaders, first-time managers or supervisors, people transitioning to a first-time manager or supervisor role at work or identified as an emerging leader for their community.
